Afghani Domina Seeds
With a CBD content of < 2% and THC between 16 to 21%, this hybrid – indica dominant doozy is a great choice for filling out one of Weed Seeds’ 40 Seed Any Strain Mixed Pack. Afghani Domina has an average flowering period of roughly seventy-five days and can deliver huge yields of more than a pound even if you really mess up. In fact, at its best when grown organically outdoors, AD can produce two pounds per plant. These three-foot tall beauties are pest and mold resistant and can adapt to just about any growing situation you put them in, provided you feed them enough nutrients. They love calcium and magnesium during their early flowering phase. Whether you’re putting a lot of these little babies in a space to create a Sea of Green and then flipping them early to produce giant bud colas, or simply lollipop pruning the bottom-most growth during the flowering phase, AD will still love you. These photoperiod, feminized seeds are a great choice for novice growers who are looking for cheap seeds to help them graduate from successfully growing autoflowers.
AD is a cult favorite with cannabis consumers who are already familiar with its famous parents, Afghani Kush and Black Domina. Their child delivers an intensely relaxing body high that creeps into the face first and then flows down the whole body like a hot shower after a hard day. The peaceful easy sleep it brings is a favorite of insomniacs and those who suffer from night terrors. Its more creative and imaginative aspects are also popular with people who use cannabis to meditate or boost creativity. If you’re looking for a strong and peaceful indica staple crop to add to your garden, buy Afghan Domin in our always popular 40 Seed Any Strain Mixed Pack today!
How to Germinate Afghani Domina Photo Fem Seeds
It can feel intimidating to germinate cannabis seeds, but doing it successfully just takes patience and consistency. This is a really easy to grow strain that’s resistant to all kinds of infections and predators. To germinate your seeds, all you’ll need are some tweezers, some distilled water, a few fresh and clean pieces of paper towel, and two plates. You’ll also need a dark and warm space that will be safe to keep your seeds in for about a week. If you want to be extra careful you can also use a seedling heating pad to keep your babies warm and a large Ziploc freezer bag to seal in moisture.
To begin, put a piece of paper towel down on a plate and get it wet with the distilled water. It’s important that the entire paper towel be moisturized. However, pools of water or sopping wet towels is too much. Perhaps take the towel and wring it out while wearing gloves, very gently, before proceeding. Arrange your AD seeds on the towel using tweezers. Cover them with another similarly wetted paper towel and then cover that with the other plate. Be sure to contain the entirety of the paper towel within the plates, as any little pieces sticking out might compromise the moisture content of the works and make it dry out faster. Place this plate sandwich in a warm, dry, dark and safe place. If you’re very conscientious, you can place the plate sandwich in a large Ziploc bag and then put that whole thing on a seed heating pad. Afghani Domina does like it hot and humid! Check on your seeds at least once a day, being ready to rehydrate the paper towels if need be. In twenty-four to forty-eight hours, you should have little sprouts!
Growing Afghan Domin From Seed At Home
AG is considered easy to grow, and gets a little over three feet tall. With thick yields of up to 500g/m2 when growing indoors, or 900g per plant if grown outdoors, this is a very productive strain that likes hot summers! Start seedlings at temperatures between eighty-five and seventy-seven degrees Fahrenheit, with a relative humidity between sixty and sixty-five percent. The temperature can get as low as sixty-eight degrees at night so long as there isn’t more than a ten-degree difference between night and day. Some hydroponic growers have gone up into the high eighties in the daytime with this plant and gone down to seventy-nine at night. Watering solutions should be kept at whatever the nighttime temperature is, with a pH balance of 5.8 to keep the soil slightly acidic until midway through the vegetative phase. Afghani Domina plants are highly resistant to mildew and infections. It really likes organic gardening methods and loves perlite as a soil addition to keep it moist. Once you’ve transferred your plants the first time, start stepping the humidity down a little bit and let it hang out between fifty and sixty for a while.
Plants will get very sturdy and woody quite quickly if you feed them right. This one can drink about a gallon of water every two days, and it loves getting nitrogen, micronutrients, phosphorus, potassium, and extra calcium and magnesium from week four on. These are indica dominant, bushy plants that benefit from a bit of pruning at the bottom of their growth somewhere around week six of vegetating. This plant can do well in a Screen of Green technique, where a screen is used to tamp down canopy leaves to expose buds to light better. Train your plants at least two weeks before you switch to flowering.
Flowering Time For Domina Afghan Feminized
The flowering period for Domina Afghan is between seven and nine weeks. During this time, the plant will want less nitrogen and way more calcium and magnesium on top of the regular increase in phosphorus and potassium. Thanks to the miracle of fem seeds, there’s no need to stay overly vigilant for males as you flip to the flowering phase. Give the plants twelve solid hours of complete darkness every night. Wait a few days for the plant to adjust to that before further changing the environment.
Start stepping down the humidity and increasing the airflow in your growing space to make carbon dioxide more available to the plant. Offer about a gallon of water per plant every day in the early flowering period, they’ll soak it up quick as they burst into action. These plants also do quite well with blurple LEDs. DA still likes it hot while producing buds. Keep temperatures around eighty degrees in the day with night temperatures at around seventy. Make your watering solution slowly more basic, with a pH of 6.5 now. The humidity should be down to fifty percent by the middle of the second week of flowering, when buds will definitely have started to appear. Inflorescences will get very thick, sometimes taking up entire branches! Individual buds have that chunky but long stereotypical Kush look. This plant will really love being lollipopped in the later stages. Lollipopping is a pruning technique that does away with lower growth to increase airflow and focus energy use on the main buds. Get humidity as low as thirty-five near the end of flowering. If you cold shock them during the finishing flush, buds might turn deep indigo and black! Sugar leaves will get very frosty and deep purple, leave them on for more pops of color.
What Makes Domina Afghani Strain Popular?
A fascinating combination of one of the most potent medicinal weeds and a fast flowering, stratospheric THC hybrid, Domina Afghani is popular and unique for delivering Kush effects without the high maintenance growing regimen of regular Kushes. Afghan Kush is descended from one of the original Asian indica landraces. It’s one of the most popular and potent medicinal weeds of all time, used to kill cancer and phantom limb level pain. It’s the highest resin producing of the Kush lineages, giving it a huge THC content and impressive terpene profile. Black Domina is a well-loved indica four way cross between Afghani, Northern Lights, Ortega, and Hash Plant. It’s famous for its abundance of anthocyanins, giving it the black part of its name. It also flowers very quickly, and has passed this trait to its kids. Black Domina won First Place at the 2010 Spannabis Cup and the 2005 Highlife Cup.
With parents like that, DA has spent its life quietly making a name for itself among stoners who know good weed. This is much more of a cult following and urban legend strain, not one that wins all kinds of awards and gets a lot of press. Black Afghan, as it’s sometimes known, prefers to fly under the radar doing quality work without much fanfare. Those who know this strain love it and will stock up on it when presented with the opportunity. Growers looking for a highly satisfying grow that delivers on yield, taste, and effect in short order are never disappointed with DA. It’s ability to roll with the punches indoors, outdoors, and even in greenhouses makes it a favorite of novice growers who are looking to experiment with different training and pruning techniques, as DA can adjust to just about anything if you give it enough time.
Fragrance, and Flavors of Afghani Domina Photo Fem
While still on the plant, buds of Afghani Domina smell like fresh cut grass. Bursts of pine and citrus jump out. A pervasive skunk and earth smell can take over later, when flowers are closer to harvest. This strain has a lot of terpenes in, so it’s always changing fragrances. How you treat it during the flowering phase will have a huge impact on what its dominant flavors turn out to be. It even incorporates seemingly disparate bouquets, with pine and earth coming together in the plant but berries and savory herbs like basil and rosemary coming out in the smoke. One minute ocimene is making everything smell like a peppermint forest, the next moment a blast of myrcene transforms that smell into a papaya sprinkled with clove powder.
Once it’s cured, buds in the jar take on a very strong citrus smell, possibly thanks to a healthy dose of the terpene citral. Buds in the hand are very earthy and musky, and get spicier in the grinder thanks to humulene and beta caryophyllene. An exploratory dry toke further expresses this pairing, with black pepper and sage its main notes. The smoke is very heavy, and induces coughing and watery eyes. There’s a lot of fresh coniferous forest flavor here thanks to alpha pinene, alpha cedrene, camphene, and eugenol all coming together. Smoke that stays in the mouth for a while begins to get earthy and musky again, sitting heavy like it does in the air. The exhale has a surprising grape and hash taste, reminiscent of fruity chewing gum thanks to the terpene farnesene. If you have the technology to vape, DA can be an exceptional journey through temperatures thanks to its dense terpene profile. Fenchol, cadinene, and borneol, all abundant here, make it taste like a savory herb garden at the top.
Effects of Afghan Domin Feminized
Alpha Pinene is a bronchodilator that keeps a clear head on many highs with its fresh and piney scent. It’s here in abundance, and it’s not unusual to cough a lot when smoking this strain. Like many Kushes, AD is a creeper! It often starts as a tingling or pressure in the crown of the head that melts down the face. Heaviness can overtake people, but it’s not the kind of couchlock where it feels like you should be anywhere else. This is a full body-relaxing feeling, like being snuggled up on a rainy Sunday. There will be munchies, however, so be prepared and make something delicious beforehand. The start of the high, while cozy, is still quite chatty and creative. Psychedelic effects slowly creep in. This strain really enhances meditating, thinking about creative projects, watching a really engrossing series, reading a speculative fiction book, or listening to some really great music. Time dilations and trippiness are also a big part of this strain, and before you know it, you’ll be so enthralled with the closed-eye visuals that you’ll be asleep.
This is a powerful strain for medicinal users. The terpene borneol, found here, has been used as a painkiller for two thousand years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Much like its Kush parent, AD has potent pain-killing and sedative abilities that are applicable for a host of issues including night terrors, restless legs, arthritis, and migraines. The high lasts about two to three hours. The first half is great for folks who suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, and depression, with comfortable sedative properties perfect for quieting the mind at the end of a long day. This part of the high can also be a potent aphrodisiac in the right space, given its social nature and sensory enhancement capabilities.
Overview of Domina Afghan Photo Fem Stats
Afghan Domin is a potent strain with famous parents. It’s easy to grow and is well-loved by cannabis connoisseurs as a source of flavorful resin and high THC oil. The child of Afghan Kush and Black Domina, it’s a fast growing plant that is highly resistant to mold and pests. It’s fabulous and diverse terpene profile carries everything from the basics of caryophyllene and humulene to more esoteric offerings like fenchol and borneol. Buds themselves will smell earthy and like pine trees and black pepper in the jar, but become a roller coaster of herbs, berries, and hash oil when lit. The veritable library of terpenes in this strain makes it an excellent choice for concentrate production and temperature precision dabbing. With a THC inclusion between sixteen and twenty-one percent and around two percent CBD, the high of AD is not for beginners. It delivers a creeping but powerful body high and a range of medicinal effects including pain relief and sedation that are appropriate for people suffering from insomnia, chronic pain due to inflammation, migraines, arthritis, and night terrors. It’s also powerfully psychedelic and chatty, making it a popular movie-watching weed and aphrodisiac.
These plants stink when they’re flowering, and buds will grow in cones up to a foot in height, provided the plant is given lots of nutrients all the way through its life cycle. This one really soaks up the calcium and magnesium, especially in its early flowering period! It takes between forty-nine and sixty-three days to flower completely. The yields are impressive at two pounds outdoors or over a pound per meter squared indoors. Buds are thick, with a traditional Kush shape and a range of colors thanks to its abundance of anthocyanins which can be deployed late in the flowering stage to make the crop turn deep purple.

0 people found this helpfulBought these in March, got all my seeds no problem and every one germinated. Pheno is a little unstable, got huge variances in the way the plants grew; so don't buy these if you are looking for consistent product. Otherwise the nugs turned out great and would recommend if you are doing a pheno hunt.
