0 people found this helpfulHi there, I'm from Northern California, thus far so excellent around here the fog keeps me in pretty high humidity and get a lot of Bud rot, but thus far this year has been pretty excellent, I have some in a greenhouse and some outside and it's looking really excellent I can't wait.

0 people found this helpfulHarvested last week. My fourth and best grow to date yet. Using four LEDs inside my tent, flowers went to ripe in seven weeks. I was having trouble keeping the tall plants away from the lights, which were raised to the maximum height. Got it done and tried a sample last night. Thoroughly enjoyed the Sativa experience. Cant wait to get those gorgeous nuggets cured. Thanks Kind Seed Co!

0 people found this helpfulI don't have time or money to cheap out. I filled a water cap with Walgreens isopropyl alcohol 91%. I placed that in an empty water bottle. I filled the bottle with tap water. I took my old Apple tv box (that is built like a tank) and cut out a crude circle to prevent a shot glass from sliding around in the box anytime I moved the box. I filled the water solution into the shot glass. I placed 5 seeds into the glass, covered with that Japanese Origami like slide cover and placed on a sturdy table, in my 72 degree Media Room, where I could be reminded to look every 6ish hours for progress. Just like my Kind Seed Co Banana Kush Fem, ALL germinated and sprouted 1/8th inch tails/roots. (I started far too late in the season my 1st year growing. A friend said, "Maybe if you get one of those grow tents and 24/7 lights you might be able to force them.") So, now each year I have this tent and lights device that enables me to meet whatever temperature or humidity desired at the start of my Presidents Week of Growing in the U.S.A. With all seeds sprouted, I VERY CAREFULLY took an American Wire Gauge #tenyellow, Spade Connector in fingers, and slid the seed 1st with root last into this transfer devise. I rotated it 90 degrees into the preformed hole in soil. My ten9" square cloth pots held $FoxFarm Ocean Forest garden soil. I took my 1 pint size drinking glass filled with Blue Moon and placed its base into the soil 1/2" to create a visible working surface, compacting the soil to a known amount, and pushed a No.2HB DIXON Ticonderoga, sharpened to a point, up to it's yellow paint. A gentle tap of hand and root should slide, root 1st, out of devise and into the hole in the ground with little stress to the EXTREMELY fragile root. Gentle pat of dirt closes small exposed hole with germinated seed perfectly delivered safely into the ground. You have now recreated a scientific way of successful seed germination, planting, and growth. Please be careful NOT to spray the SEED SHELL as it comes up out of the ground.(1st photo) It needs to stay bone dry, hard and unyielding for the whole week it will take the leaves to punch out from underneath its protection and finally force it to fall to the ground. Otherwise, I found that it can melt and glue to the seedling, preventing all the leaves from ever coming out, and killing it. I consider this mistake mine and not Kind Seed Co's fault. thus far, after 3 different purchases, every seed has germinated. (5 Granddaddy Purple Fem in front row.)

0 people found this helpfulI have ground GDP and was surprised how little I harvested. From Arizona. Have to dodge the high temperatures. Will grow Durbin poison at a later date.great cannabis seeds
-
0 people found this helpfulThe Durbin had a great run. I am flushing now and will be harvesting in the next few days. Big fat sweet looking nugs. Im really excited to cure this batch and enjoy. Weve crackped a few more seeds for an outdoor grill this summer and theyre hoping that we have some excellent warm weather and they stretched to the sky
-
0 people found this helpfulMy Durban Poison is doing positively! She's been "mainlined" using the "Nebula Haze" method and being grown-out using the "*****" method. Her vegetation is lush and has almost completely filled the screen. Once that happens, I will switch over from an 18/6 light schedule to a 12/twelve schedule to induce flowering.

0 people found this helpfulOverall the plants came out amazing, the twins became massive growing side by side in a 15G pot. Eventually I had to cut one down a week earlier then the other due to nutritional reasons but all three indoor Durban poisons are doing great. Its a hardy plant that is tall, one plant in my tent grow over 6.5 feet tall. I started some outdoor and cant wait to see the monster size of it. The pic below is the 1st plant I cut down from the twins.

0 people found this helpful1st of all before I give a review of the strain, I 1st like to say what a great company Kind Seed Co is. One of the best customer service I have ever dealt with. I only use Kind Seed Co for my needs, I believe everyone should. Anyways, the Durban Poison strain is a very beastly strain. I did not need to germinate 8 seeds to get 2 plants. I simple took 6 seeds and germinated them and there they were, once they crackped it was game on. They grew like champs, even had one seed that crackped out twin plants. Very hardy strain and I only got it because my wife is from South Africa and we got engaged in Durban on the beach, near the Indian Ocean. Naturally I wanted the sentiment of the name. What I got was so much more, this strain does well indoor and outdoors. They are not completely done, yet so Im not sure of the taste or effects. When I do I will repost and let everyone know, but thus far this strain is becoming a favorite.
-
0 people found this helpfulOh my 1st grow with a few strains. The durban was the 1st to flower! Looking excellent!
-
0 people found this helpfulhello! It went fine. The Durban I grew before is more enjoyable than the Fem. It seems that it was crossed with an Indica, The durban fem is still wet so maybe it needs to dry out some. The OGl Durban helps a excellent bit with a few nagging pains. I have 4 more grow seeds left. Let see what we get!
-

0 people found this helpfulFrom Kind Seed Co I purchased Durban Poison and Afghan, both fem., over the winter & Stored in fridge. On April 16 2023 I received tenGorilla Glue auto from Kind Seed Co. ( wow!! Ordered GG two weeks too early, could have got 20 for same money for 420 sale ) I grow strictly outdoor in southern most U.S. Im planting DP a few at a time being a larger plant. The 1st 3 DP germinated well. Out of the 5 Afghan planted 4 germinated and 8 out of tenGG auto germinated. Last year I had 4 seeds of a strain not germinate and before I knew it I had 4 new seeds from Kind Seed Co. My experiences with the Kind Seed Co team, Robert and his angels, and the Quality of their products and service is the best and 51/2 stars. Thanks guys !

0 people found this helpfulAll the seeds I have planted from this company have germinated. excellent genetics, great outdoor yield.
-
0 people found this helpfulThats a exceptionally well smoke. Real mood and energy upswing. 20 seeds, 4 fails and 4 seedlings I cleverly killed by myself. No drama. In successive grows, the rest got through to maturity outdoors and yielded more than enough for a excellently stash. Great strain for a nth Australian grow. had a taste just now....did I mention the mood and energy upswings?...hehe
-
0 people found this helpfulthus far so excellent. Did the big chop on 5/10/21 so I'm still curing. The bouquets the come out of the jar are crazy. One smells like watermelon bubble gum, another smells like a citrus cleaner and there's a peculiar one that smells musty lol, but it was smelling like that in the tent. My setup wasn't complete so sometimes my temps hit 90 and they still produced vigorously. CAN NOT WAIT!
-
0 people found this helpfulThis one gave me trouble to germinate. The first 3 did not sprout! I started #4 one month after the other 5 and was hesitant to keep it with the others as they went to the 12hr light cycle. To my surprise it flowered a few days before the photoperiod strains. It is 32" high with 4 strongly developing colas and other minor branched ones. It isn't very bushy, and again, it isn't getting full light due to Granny's influence (monster plant next to it). This would make a nice sea of green with a grow of just A NLs. Tip. Crack the seed with your teeth or a small nipper to help it germinate.
-
0 people found this helpfulI love the plants I've grown from these seeds. But like all the seeds I get here, there's no telling what it is. This is supposed to be 100% sativa but it has fat leafs like an indica. I can't complain about what I end up with but it's not what I paid for as always. It would be exceptionally well I did though. The only other thing about them is one out of three sprout. That makes them way more expensive with that germination rate.
-
0 people found this helpfulGreat stuff!!! 3 out of 5 seeds successfully germinated. Grew in potting mix, started indoors n then put outdoors in suburban garden. Very easy grow n great yield - 20 oz of top quality, big buds from the 3 plants. Will definately do this strain again.
-
0 people found this helpfulThis plant was so effortless to grow. Germination was very easy. I tried my hand at using a grow through grid and a ***** net. Both really helped flatten her down and allow her buds to grow big. This is the 1st time for me growing a large plant. I'm looking forward to see what her dry yield will be.
-
0 people found this helpfulI have one of the plants in the bud tent, it only has 2 weeks of budding, plus one plant growing outside. I was wanting to see how well an outside grow does here in high desert. thus far, it's been like growing any other Sativa plant. taller and looks very exceptionally well.
-
0 people found this helpfulWas hesitant about growing this strain outdoors in northern Vermont. It turned out to be a show stopper! We did have three days of rain in the upper 40s with wind and they were fine with A LOT of maintenance. Fortunately Im experienced enough to spot problems (sometimes) before they start.choice company

0 people found this helpfulThis was my 2nd grow with the Durban P. The 1st grow was not excellent, planted in the ground and had small weak plants. Changed my method to planting in15 gal. pots with potting soil, I planted 3 and was amazed at the growth of these. Over tenfeet high and processed 6 quart jars of bud off of each plant. Very excellent high that lasts. Thanks Kind Seed Co very satisfied with your products and support!

-
0 people found this helpfulAbsolutely loving the strain thus far and definitely most excited for this one!! The Pink hair's are amazing no aroma just yet still very early in flower. We're growing two Durban Poison's right now and we got lucky with one specific phenotype. Very strong, sturdy, resilient, one branch accidentally snapped unintentionally trying to be tucked. It was then taped and made a 100% recovery!! One of our best strain's we've grown thus far!!

0 people found this helpfulMedical patient, only allowed to legally have 5 plants. They're growing in plastic 5 gal pails. I topped 4 of the 5 plants, leaving one au natural. 3 topped plants were left just that way, top removed only. And the last plant was topped and then 2 branches topped again. All 5 plants are growing beautifully. The "Christmas tree" is almost 5' tall, and all the plants are flowering. The topped plants are so much bushier than the Christmas tree. Been using Fox Farm Fert as directed. thus far, So excellent. Can't wait to taste it in Dec!

0 people found this helpfulThe Durban Poison i grew got tall fairly expeditiously and budded heavily. Not only were the buds large, they were also frosty, covered in tricomes, and they have a purpleish hue to them. Well 2 of the 3 D.P. that i grew had purple in the buds. The smoke is smooth and potent, even the uncured sample i took back in week 8 of flowering. They took twelve weeks to get mature enough to where i was ready to harvest them. They weren't all amber tricomes yet, either. Roughly a 50%/50% mix of milky white and amber. I haven't cured it yet, but have dried them and getting ready to cure. Precured, it is amazing smoke! I know as they go on to cure properly, with time, the smell and the beautiful colored buds will only improve

0 people found this helpfulI know theres plenty of variation from seed to seed but I grew two and they were in Fox farms ocean forest - vegged for month. What I loved was a pure sativa that flowered in 8 weeks, and stacked buds more like an indica than a sativa! Im not a fan of Kind Seed Cos, or anyones, autoflowers.. but this strain was ON POINT for me.

0 people found this helpfulSummer 2023 was my 1st experience with Durban poison, but had to try it after hearing stories from a mariner friend who smoked it while docked in Durbin and ending up (briefly) in jail. I live in the Vermont hills, so not the ideal climate for Durban, but none the less, it grew to over seven feet with six main stems covered with pretty foxtail shaped buds. The taste and smell are like biting into a fresh, juicy grapefruit. The high produces a wide-eyed, energetic, let's clean the house and wash the car and then go climb a mountain, pleasantly intense big buzz. I highly recommend Durban for any outdoor growers that want to try something decidedly different than the indica dominant hybrids that are now the mainstay.

0 people found this helpfulIm not sure if this is truly an exotic strain, but thats the word I use to describe its flavor and buzz. Unlike anything Im used to. Energetic and mood lifting effects. Very exceptionally well.
