This is my 4th outdo…
This is my 4th outdoor grow in my suburban SOCA backyard garden, using seeds from Kind Seed Co. I aimed for a compact sativa dominant auto for this grow, and it turned out well. The leaves have a less indica appearance but maintain the compactness with short internodes and no stretch. Out of the 10 purchased seeds, 6 germinated and thrived. 5 of them reached a height of 36-42”, while one phenotype stands at 50” with solo pistils and a Christmas tree shape. I haven’t topped it due to its unique growth. The other 5 plants are stout and gaining more mass on their colas each day. There haven’t been any issues with bugs or odor as described on the website. The White Widow auto was taller and had a stronger smell, possibly due to the cool and wet spring weather. The AK47 auto is discreetly tucked behind flowering shrubs and perennials, with its narrow sativa leaves helping it blend in. It’s a beautiful grow, and I can’t stop admiring the fat dense colas. Although I should harvest soon, I’m holding back because the fan leaves are still healthy, and I want to see if the colas will get even fatter. The tall phenotype may turn into a stunning monster if it doesn’t start flowering soon.

I grew 2 of these a few months back. I used 3 gallon pots, happy frog soil, 24 hours of light, Temp stayed between 65-70 at night and 75-85 durning the day with 40-65% humidity. The first plant harvested 63 days from seed and produced 4 ounces of dried, cured AMAZING bud. The second plant harvested 70 days from seed and produced 5.5 ounces of dried, cured bud. Thats a total of 9.5 ounces from 2 plants in just over 2 months from seed. I don’t care what anyone says about autos. IF YOU GROW THEM RIGHT, IN THE RIGHT CONDITIONS, YOU WILL LOVE THEM.

I was surprised at how fast these girls grow. Mine has over 4 weeks to go and the colas are already good size. One mistake I did make was to plant the seed a little to deep. Won’t make that mistake next time. The life cycle of these guys is so short that no nutrients were necessary. Instead I have a friend who gives me used aquarium water. The girls love it. It is chlorine free and completely organic. The fish waste is exactly what these plant need. I can’t wait for the harvest. The two that sprouted look great we had a lot of rain here in Australia so the two seed raising tray cubes that were hanging over the edge were the only ones that sprouted but fertilised a large amount of worm castings and compost with some volcanic rock dust and soft rock sprinkled throughout it today and their growing with a layer of hemp mulch over the top
