Only this time, our breeders spent quite a few hours selectively breeding only the fastest flowering phenotypes. As a result, we achieved a quick flowering variety of one of the most beloved strains. Granddaddy Purps has a stunning THC content of 23-28%, and when paired with < 2% CBD, you can expect this flower to be heavy hitting. As this strain is a quick flower phase variety, flowering times are absurdly short for such a strong indica, with most growers being able to collect their bounty of green buds in eight weeks. If you have had the chance to try Granddaddy Purple before then, you know what you are getting into. This is the exact same strain, only with the added bonus of fast-flowering, so you can expect this hybrid – indica to hit like a ton of bricks. The major sensations of this heavy indica will leave you in a state of pure body bliss, so don’t expect to be moving off the couch anytime soon. Thanks to the high amount of the natural pigment called anthocyanins, you can expect your plants to have a vibrant purple tone to them and if you are hoping to really make the purple, expose your plants to some cold and watch the purple take over.
While this might be a fast-flowering strain, the effects of this premium bud are long-lasting. As this strain has a long line of indica parents, you can expect the effects to be predominately indica. This is most centrally not an all-day smoke as once the potent effects wear off, the only thing you will be thinking about is having a snooze. On low doses, this bud has been reported to be somewhat relaxing without too much of the burnout that can happen with indica flowers. As the dose increases, many users report a strong body effect begins to take hold. This strain is perfect for relaxing on the couch, watching a movie, or playing video games.
