Skunk Fast Feminized Seeds

Skunk Fast has genetic roots that go back to the 1970s. Sacred Seed Co, takes the credit for first blending a worldwide salad of strains to get our beloved mother Skunk #1. First, two different landrace sativa strains were used ( Acapulco Gold and Columbian Gold ), before a purebred indica strain from Afghanistan was bred into the mix. The marijuana strain that ensues has been creating a following since it was first released on the market. The fact that it is still among our top-selling Feminized Seeds nearly 50 years later speaks volumes about the heritage and value of this cultivar.

To the untrained nose, many individuals could comment that the ganja plant in general carries a skunky undertone. And this is partly true due to the presence of myrcene, the most abundant of all cannabis terpenes which is found in varying amounts in nearly all cannabis strains. When you grow from seed, you get to witness the development of the complex aroma profile as the flowers develop and unfold before your eyes. In addition to the leading terpene of myrcene, Skunk is also high in linalool, caryophyllene, and humulene. All of these combined give Skunk a deep and rich flavor experience that hits the high notes of sweet citrus and woody earth.

Surprisingly, this strain tastes much better than a bowl of steamed skunk cabbage. The strain isn’t well known for big flavor, but there is a nice old school flavor of sweet earth and hashy forest which brings you back to the good old days of smoking weed before all the fruity modern hybrids started popping up. You may identify some notes of damp, sour dirt, and a little bit of savory Kush flavor in the mix as well. Our Big Fast Skunk is often used to produce cannabis extracts. So, if you know of a 420-friendly friend who is starting a 710 grow, just know that this product’s end destination will be making it into cannabis oil for smoking, dabbing, vaping, or baking into edibles or gummies.

When growing the infamous Skunk strain up close and personal, you will be amazed at much more than just the smell. Her flowers are typically a bright neon green tone that simmers under the light from a layer of glistening trichomes. This high resin content usually translates to some pretty sticky lips when you inhale your first few tokes from a joint. Pruning and trimming this strain is also a breeze, simply because of how nicely the branches are spaced out, and the high bud-to-leaf ratio.

Starting your own home grow or restocking your successful grow operation? Skunk Fast Bud is a strain that will be easy to grow, flower quickly, and give you a medium to large-sized harvest of rich stinky buds. The sky is the limit when it comes to the different ways you can process your raw material after harvest. Hang dry and cure for 20 to 60 days for the best smokable flower, or flash freeze the plants instantly in preparation for making some potent live resin. The next time you are tramping through the forests on a stoner hike, take some Skunk with you to bring a dose of wonder into your wander and have a multi-hour psychedelic trip.
