We used the papertowel method and got 9/10 to germinate and then got 7/10 going into planter pots. We are newer growers, so this was good enough for us. I give this strain a 4 star overall. I only have 1 plant to rate the “strain” from fyi as I did a mix and match order. With that in mind I have a few things to say. First if youre from the east coast this “sour D” is nothing like the “Sour D” that goes around here. I was disappointed to say the least thats why its not 5. If I had to equate it to another well known kind of bud around here (New England and east coast in general) it would be Beasters also known as Canadian hydro, Nookers, and “Indoor bud” although you dont see it anymore. Now its much better than “beasters” but I did grow a few seeds out of a bag of “Beasters” back in the day and the resulting plant was extremely similar to this “sour d”. Big, heavy colas of orange haired buds. It however has a much better taste and high. I rarely smoke it in flower form I have been pressing Rosin and this strain seems to yield well for me.
