Super Sativa Seed Club Guide: Old-School Haze Genetics & Kind Seed Co Packs
Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) is early Dutch seed-bank history brought back for modern growers. Kind Seed Co carries the club’s seeds under Super Sativa Seed Club products.
Quick answer
SSSC suits collectors and haze hunters: Kees’ Old School Haze Regular, club regulars, and select modern hybrids in branded packs shipped from New York.
Brand background
High Times dates SSSC’s founding to 1985 in Amsterdam by Karel Schelfhout, describing it as one of the first Dutch companies to sell seeds openly via catalog and High Times ads. The original run wound down around the late 1980s. Karel preserved a Haze × Skunk #1 phenotype for decades. High Times inducted SSSC into its Seed Bank Hall of Fame in 2007 and covered the father-son 2018 relaunch with Kees, including commercialization of Kees’ Old School Haze.
Secondary histories connect early SSSC genetics to lines from David “Sam the Skunkman” Watson (Skunk #1, Haze, Afghani #1) and early contact with Nevil Schoenmakers’ Seed Bank scene.
