4 Cannabis Seed Banks With Fast US Shipping (Stated Windows)
Kind Seed Co runs this site. Entries are grouped by stated shipping details, not ranked. The others are grouped by what they may suit, not ranked by a tested score. The fastest option is usually a shop that ships from inside the US and states its processing time. The windows below are each shop’s own words.
Below, you’ll find the difference between processing and transit time, how four shops were picked, what each one says about its own shipping speed, and what you can do to get your seeds sooner.
Processing time vs transit time
When a shop says your order ships fast, it can mean two different things.
Processing time is how long the shop takes to pack your order and hand it to the carrier. It starts when you pay and ends when the package leaves. Weekends, holidays and payment checks can all stretch it.
Transit time is how long the carrier takes to move the package from the shop to your door. It depends on the carrier, the service level and the distance.
Both of them matter. A shop with a short transit time but slow processing can still leave you waiting. That is why this page lists each shop’s processing and transit windows separately where the shop gives them. When a shop only states one of the two, we say so.
Domestic shipping also avoids the extra time that international orders can take. Every shop on this page states it ships within the US.
How we picked
Each shop is judged on its own pages, not on rankings from elsewhere. To make this list, a shop had to state on its own site that it ships within the US, through a US shipping point, a US shipping line or a statement that it ships within the US only. It also had to give a stated shipping window where available. Every shop here was checked on October 15, 2026.
No test orders were placed, so the windows below are what each shop says, not measured results. Two other shops, Symple Seeds and North Atlantic Seed Co., are not listed. Symple Seeds states no shipping window on its site, and North Atlantic’s stated window covers wholesale orders.
The 4 seed banks and their stated windows
1. Kind Seed Co. Kind Seed Co runs this site, so weigh that. Its shipping page says, “We ship to all US states via USPS from New York.” On timing, the same page says, “It may take up to two weeks to reach you in certain circumstances but most customers have their order in a few days to a week.” Kind Seed’s About page at https://kindseed.com/about-us/ says it has been selling seeds since 1994, with a gap before it came back after the Farm Bill. Its White Label germination guarantee applies only to orders of 100 seeds or less, not to Branded Pre Packaged Breeder Packs, and not to retailers or stores. There is no replacement if you planted directly in soil or rockwool, if the order is more than 3 months old, or if you soaked seeds in water more than 24 hours. It may suit growers who want USPS delivery from New York. See https://kindseed.com/shipping-returns/.
2. ILGM. ILGM’s site says, “Currently, we only ship within the United States from our US warehouse.” On timing, it says, “Orders ship in 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 3–5 business days.” ILGM offers a germination guarantee for seeds germinated with the paper towel method, so read the claim rules before you start. It may suit beginners who want a stated processing and transit window from a single domestic shipping point.
3. Seedbank.com. Seedbank.com says, “Currently we ship within the United States only.” It also says, “All orders ship via express with tracking and typically arrive in 2-5 business days,” and “Orders are processed within 1 business day.” No US street address is listed on its site, so it is described here only as a shop that ships within the US. It may suit growers who want express shipping with a short stated processing window.
4. DNA Genetics. DNA Genetics is a breeder brand. Its site says orders are “shipped directly from our warehouse based out of California, U.S.A.” On timing, its FAQ says, “We aim to process all orders within 1–3 business days.” That is processing time only, and DNA does not state a transit window on its site. It may suit growers who want to buy direct from a breeder and are fine with an unstated transit time.

Comparison table
| Shop | Ships from | Processing | Transit, as stated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kind Seed Co | USPS from New York | Not stated separately | A few days to a week for most, up to two weeks in some cases |
| ILGM | Within the US | 1 to 3 business days | Typically 3 to 5 business days |
| Seedbank.com | Ships within the US only | Within 1 business day | Typically 2 to 5 business days |
| DNA Genetics | California | Aims for 1 to 3 business days | Not stated |
Read the table as each shop’s own promise, not a guarantee. Business days do not include weekends or holidays, so an order placed on a Friday afternoon may not move until Monday. When a shop gives no transit window, plan for normal domestic carrier times and watch your tracking.
How to get seeds faster, step by step
- Check your state and local rules on seeds and home growing.
- Pick a shop that ships from inside the US.
- Read its processing time and its transit time, not just one number.
- Order early in the week so processing does not sit over a weekend.
- Use a full, correct address and watch for the tracking email.
- If tracking stalls, contact the seller with your order number.
Small details make a difference. A missing apartment number or a typo in a street name can send a package back or hold it at a post office. Check the address before you pay. Holidays also add days, so if you need seeds by a certain date, order well before the busy season.
What third party tests say
Some sites place their own test orders. USEED, for example, publishes averages based on shipments to an East Coast US address and says its shipping times are the average of multiple test orders. Those results are theirs, not ours, and they reflect one location and one period.
Third party tests can be a useful check on a shop’s stated window. But delivery time depends on your location, the carrier and the season, so your own order may arrive faster or slower than any published average.
Troubleshooting
| Sign | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No tracking email | Order not processed yet | Check the shop’s processing window, then contact the seller |
| Tracking stalled | Carrier delay | Check the tracking link, then contact the seller with your order number |
| Package marked delivered but missing | Carrier or address issue | Check with neighbors and the carrier, then contact the seller |
| Slower than the stated window | Holidays or weekends | Compare to business days, then contact the seller |
Most delays tend to sort themselves out within a few days. Before you contact the seller, count business days from your payment date and compare that with the shop’s stated window. If you are past it, send your order number, the tracking link and a short note. Clear details get faster answers.
Legal note
Cannabis seed and home grow rules vary by state and locality. A change to the federal hemp definition currently does not apply before December 11, 2026, and the rules may change, so check current federal and state law.

Which seed banks ship fastest in the US?
Based on their own stated windows, Seedbank.com says, "Orders are processed within 1 business day," and "All orders ship via express with tracking and typically arrive in 2-5 business days." ILGM says, "Orders ship in 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 3–5 business days." Kind Seed Co runs this site, so weigh that.
How long does US seed shipping take?
It depends on the shop. Stated windows on this page range from a few business days to up to two weeks in some cases. Count business days, not calendar days, and add time around weekends and holidays.
Do US shipped seeds go through customs?
A package shipped from one US address to another does not cross a border, so there is no customs step. That is one reason domestic shipping is often faster than international shipping. It says nothing about whether seeds are allowed where you live, so check your local rules.
Is express shipping worth it?
It depends on the shop's processing time. Express transit does not help much if the order sits for several days before it ships. Check both windows before paying extra.
Is it legal to buy cannabis seeds online in the US?
Rules vary by state and locality. A change to the federal hemp definition currently does not apply before December 11, 2026, and the rules may change, so check current federal and state law before you buy or plant.
