AC Infinity CloudLab tent review for cannabis
The AC Infinity CloudLab series is a premium line of grow tents built for growers who want a tidy, well sealed space that works neatly with climate controllers. The maker lists thick canvas, heavy steel poles, a reflective mylar lining, taller viewing windows and a metal plate that holds a controller on the outside of the tent with a light proof cable passthrough. For a home grower who plans to run an inline fan, a controller and an LED as one system, the CloudLab is a strong choice. If you only need a basic tent, a lower priced model may do the job. Fill whichever tent you pick with genetics from our indoor seeds collection. This guide is for adults 21 and older growing where home cultivation is legal.
This is a spec based review. We compared the maker’s published product pages and manuals with what home growers need. We did not run our own test grow, and specs, included parts and model names change by version and region, so check the manufacturer’s current listing before you buy. Kind Seed Co is not affiliated with this brand and this post is not sponsored.
The CloudLab lineup
AC Infinity sells the CloudLab under its Advance grow tent line. The model number tells you the size. The first digit is the height in feet and the next digits are the width and depth. A CloudLab 733, for example, is listed as 3 x 3 feet and 6 feet tall. Here is how the lineup looked on the maker’s site on Oct 29 2026.

| Model | Listed footprint | Listed size (inches) | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 422 | 2×2 | 24 x 24 x 48 | Seedlings, clones, one small auto |
| 722 | 2×2 | 24 x 24 x 72 | One plant with more height |
| 632 | 3×2 | 36 x 24 x 72 | One or two compact plants |
| 642 | 4×2 | 48 x 24 x 72 | Two plants in a narrow space |
| 733 | 3×3 | 36 x 36 x 72 | One to three plants |
| 844 | 4×4 | 48 x 48 x 80 | The classic home size |
| 866 | 5×5 | 60 x 60 x 80 | Larger home grows |
| 894, 899, 816, 811 | 8×4 up to 10×10 | 80 inches tall | Big rooms, many plants |
AC Infinity also lists 2 in 1 models with a D at the end, such as the 632D, 743D and 864D. These split the tent into two zones, which some growers use to keep a small veg or clone area next to a flowering area. There is also a short propagation tent with shelves. Sizes and models change, so check the current list before you order.
Key features
Canvas and lining
The CloudLab manual lists a 2000D oxford canvas, which is a thick weave meant to block light and resist tears. Inside, AC Infinity uses a diamond pattern mylar that it says was lab tested for high reflectance. Reflective walls bounce light back to the canopy, but your light and plant spacing matter far more than a small gain in reflectance. Read our guide to reflective materials for indoor growers for context.
Frame
AC Infinity markets the CloudLab with what it calls its thickest steel poles. A stout frame is useful when you hang a full size LED, a carbon filter and an inline fan from the top bars. Check the stated load rating for the model you buy, and spread weight across more than one bar.
Controller mount and cable passthrough
This is the feature that sets the CloudLab apart. A metal plate on the outside of the tent holds a controller or sensor hub, and a passthrough lets cables run inside without leaving a gap that leaks light. If you already use, or plan to use, a climate controller for your fan and humidifier, this keeps the setup neat and keeps cables off the floor. Our post on environmental controllers for grow rooms explains what a controller does.
Windows and doors
The current CloudLab design has taller viewing windows with covers, so you can check plants without opening the main door and losing your climate. Doors use heavy zippers with flaps. Remember that windows must be fully closed during the dark period for photoperiod plants. See our guide to grow tent viewing windows.
Ports and floor
The tents have cinched duct ports, cable ports and a removable spill tray. Ports in several places make it easier to set up exhaust high and passive intake low. Learn more in our guides to passive intake and inline fan CFM.
Warranty
On Oct 29 2026 the AC Infinity site listed a two year product warranty and a 30 day return window. Terms change, so read the current warranty page before you buy.
What we like
- The controller mount and passthrough make a clean, light tight setup
- Thick canvas and a heavy frame suit growers who hang a lot of gear
- A wide range of sizes, including 2 in 1 tents for a veg and flower split
- Taller windows let you check plants with less disturbance
- Designed to work with AC Infinity fans and controllers if you already own them
What to consider
- CloudLab tents usually cost more than basic tents in the same size
- The controller mount adds most value if you use a controller
- Some heights, such as 72 inches on the 3×3, may feel tight for stretchy photoperiod plants with a large light
- Interior space can be slightly smaller than the outside size, so check the inside measurements
- A strong frame does not fix a poor climate. You still need the right fan, filter and airflow

Who the CloudLab suits
The CloudLab makes the most sense for growers who want one brand for the tent, fan and controller and who care about a tidy, sealed setup. It also suits growers in a bedroom or shared space, where a neat tent with fewer gaps helps with light and odor control. Read grow tent in a bedroom and how to prevent weed odor before you set up in a living space.
If you are on a tight budget, a simpler tent with good canvas and a steel frame will still grow great plants. Spend the savings on your light, which has a bigger effect on harvest quality than the tent.
Setting up a CloudLab tent
- Pick a level spot with access to an outlet and good airflow in the room. Our guide on where to put a grow tent covers the basics.
- Assemble the frame first, then pull the canvas over it slowly so you do not tear seams.
- Hang the light from the center of the top bars and set the height from the maker’s chart.
- Mount the carbon filter and inline fan high, and run exhaust out a top port.
- Open a low port for passive intake, or add an intake fan.
- Mount the controller on the outside plate, run the cables through the passthrough and close every flap.
- Test for light leaks by sitting inside with the light off and the room lights on.

Our cannabis grow tent setup guide walks through each step in more detail. Do not overload a single power strip, and read grow tent fire safety before you plug in.
Strains that suit a CloudLab tent
A tent is only as good as the plants inside it. These Kind Seed Co strains suit indoor tents of different sizes:

- Northern Lights Auto for a compact, easy plant in a 2×2 or 3×3
- Big Bud Auto for a short autoflower with chunky colas
- White Widow for a classic photoperiod you can train in a 4×4
- Critical Mass for a heavy flowering photoperiod in a tall tent
Frequently asked questions
Is the AC Infinity CloudLab good for cannabis?
Yes. On paper it has everything a cannabis tent needs: thick light blocking canvas, a sturdy frame, reflective walls, several ports and a spill tray. Its controller mount is a bonus if you use a climate controller.
Which CloudLab size should I buy?
Match the tent to the light you plan to use and the number of plants your state allows. A 2×2 or 3×3 suits one to three small plants, and a 4×4 is the most flexible home size. Check that the height leaves room for your light, hangers and pots.
Do I need an AC Infinity controller to use a CloudLab?
No. The tent works with any fan, light and controller. The mount and passthrough simply make an AC Infinity controller easier to fit.
What is a 2 in 1 CloudLab tent?
It is a tent split into two zones with separate doors. Growers often use the smaller zone for seedlings, clones or a mother plant and the larger zone for flowering.
Did you test these tents?
No. This is a spec based review built from the maker’s product pages and manual. Check the manufacturer’s current listing for sizes, materials and warranty before you buy.
